While I had one baby with me, and other babies in the cradle, I would work 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! It was beginning to make sense, but was far from finished. It was in 2013 when my beautiful daughter Nora joined our 4th child. The direction of my business was great, but I was forced to rest for a while. I decided to step back and stay at home, spending time with my family. This was precisely what I needed at that time. It rang once more after a while. I started receiving requests from people requesting to help with their home improvement and design of interiors. A majority of these were people who had been through my property during open houses for furniture! As I went along I began adding clients to my list in a series of. It wasn't too long before I managed several clients, and had a profitable home improvement business. If you had told me that my business would be the basis for a DIY Network show, I likely would have thought you were crazy. In the present, as I think about the circumstances and think about it, I laugh.
