Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, particularly acclaimed for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams began her career as a 7-year-old living in Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s, she began dancing and performing professionally at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she was employed at a regional theater where her character was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. She moved to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with a good-natured but snarky contestant. Her husband Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and began her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. In the 1960s, Leigh appeared in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
