Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes in Seinfeld season four. She played a cook known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone made an appearance in the show Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's wife in Friendsthe premiere episode. Barone left the show when she was seeking a more full-time role she was substituted by Jane Sibbett. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995-1996) Then she appeared on The War at Home from 2005 until 2007. Barone was a co-star in Daddio (2000). Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role as One Last Ride. Barone's recurring role in Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up started in 2010 just three years after The War at Home finished it's running. She played officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone on two of the episodes.
